Throughout my career I have contributed to the training of journalists, communicators and scientists with conferences and trainings in science communication and journalism
During the World Heart Association's annual meeting, I talked to scientists about how they can explain their work to reporters and regular people. I shared useful tips and tools to make their communication clear and easy to understand.
The Covid-19 pandemic challenged journalists in Latin America to report on mental health issues. In this workshop we addressed some recommendations for responsible coverage of these issues.
